Ordered several variants of a foldable purse flat for when I'm done with my heels; this is the only one that looks like a real shoe despite being very thin and compact. The rest are either visibly flimsy, looking like those disposable spa slippers in cheap halloween pleather, or so thick and serious they can't fit in a small purse. This one splits the difference beautifully. It's a knit fabric, so it fits like a sock on every shape of foot, but the elastic stretches out fully when on and from only a short distance it looks like a regular flat, without the unattractive rumpled edges that the folding types can have. They are VERY thin and fits even in my smallest purse.Please be aware these are portable "emergency" shoes meant to be pulled out of your purse at the end of the night when your feet are too tired of heels. They are meant for a few minutes from the bar to the taxi or subway... NOT for long term walking. They will protect your feet when you were done with your heels enough to go barefoot... but they probably only have 10-20 hours of wear in them. Spread that out into 1 hour intervals and they will see you through several years worth of parties, but if you try to wear them all day, they'll be done in a week.
