Love this shoe! In the cold weather I felt it was too big but now that the heat is back and my feet swell a bit they fit fine. I love the leather sole & heel which makes it look & feel like a real shoe with ballet accents.Very nice shoe love the square toePerfect 7 1/2I've had several Sam Edelman's (bought from Bloomindale's) and I've always been happy with their quality of leather, comfort and durability. Always a good experience.This one is the same, nice design, comfortable and good quality leather. the tiny Sam Edelman metal logo on the back is a nice touch.The front is a little wide so if you have a really thin shoe, look elsewhere. It would be loose on your feet if you are thin and have thin feet.The biggest issue I have with this is that it runs small, I always wear 8 or 8.5 depending on the brand. All the other Sam Edelmans I have are 8.5 but this one for some reason is really large. At least half a size large, one might even say one size large. I couldn't wear this and since it was a vine item I couldn't return and get a smaller size, ended up adding an insole to be able to wear it comfortably.I do recommend this product but I strongly recommend ordering at least half a size smaller than you usually do.These are exactly what I was looking for. Simple black flats, no pointy toes, a simple embellishment that adds an understated classy touch. The workmanship was great. These were exactly what I wanted, EXCEPT they were big enough that they kept falling off.I normally wear a 8.5M in SAS shoes and sandals, New Balance and Nike walking and running shoes, etc. However, these shoes in an 8.5M were unwearable. I handed them off to my daughter, who normally wears a 9 to 9.5 and they fit her well, except the heel was still a touch loose. We’ll probably add a strip of moleskin or something. Other than that, though, they do fit her. I would suggest sizing down at least a half-size in these shoes. It’s a pity the sizing is off, because I love these shoes. Awesome!I couldn't wait to get these shoes! I wear dressy flats daily at work and these looked to be the best of both worlds. A flat ballet design with minimal attention getting designs and bling. A square toe so no scrunched toes either. When I first pulled them out of the box, I was super impressed with the feel of the leather. SOOOO soft! I slid them on and they appeared to fit initially, but once I tried to walk in them, they were sliding all over. I wear an 8.5 and these are easily sized to fit a 9 or 9.5. Unfortunately, I won't be able to get much use of them. Otherwise, a great pair of shoes. Just order a size down because they will probably stretch in addition to the already loose fit!Sam Edelman Women's Jillie Ballet FlatI would never purchase online from this brand again because their sizing is quite inconsistent. I ordered two different sets of their boots at the same time that I ordered the flats, all in an 8.5. The boots were both too small and the flats are a little too big. You really need to be able to try their products on as there's no consistency in sizing.Aside from the sizing issues, these are beautiful flats and the uppers are incredibly soft--like glove leather. Would love them if they fit properly.These are lovely shoes. I tend to wear 8.5 or 9 depending on the brand. I took a chance and took the 9s in these. While they are roomy they are not uncomfortably big. They aren’t exceedingly comfortable, but even on the first wearing I did not get blisters. Overall I think they need inserts and they will be relegated to church shoes, but they are so lovely that I won’t deduct a star for it.
