I got it so the little boy next door can see the dog and pet him through the wooden fence. The dogs love and so do the kids!!!I put this on the (Air-Conditioned) shed/house I built for our dog, Dakota. In the hot south Texas sun, she hangs out all day either sleeping (she is nocturnal) or looking out the bubble window for someone to come out the back door of the house. We love the window. I cut the hole with a Rotozip with a circle cutter attachment.There is so much ‘nature’ behind our fence that we knew our dog would love to see. She loves this and it looks nice. We determined best height for her to see through it at her eye level and was easy to install. (Came with template.). We’ve had it up for a couple months that included several storms/hail…. No scratches! Since the bubble is on side of common ground that gets mowed often, we use a weed-eater around it on that side to keep mowers from hitting it. (Not sure they would, but just in case). It’s fun to watch our fur-baby enjoy occasionally glances to the other side!The dogs love it. They can see outside the yard. Believe it or not they bark less because they can see the things they could only hear.Our little furbabies love their porthole! It took them about 5 minutes to figure out that they could see the sidewalk through the porthole. They like to see neighbors and other dogs walking by.My pup runs to his window every time I take him out now!My husky loves her window she is very nosy and needs to see who is walking by our house! This window helped her just go that. Very easy to install so far holding up well.Sofie’s best friend lives across the street. Now she can say hello and be seen.Sadly the size 2 I ordered were slightly too small and I had to return them. I wish they were available in half sizes.
