When it comes to buying shoes or in this case mocs I have trouble because my feet are a problematic size. I ordered several of these mocs over the last couple of weeks and none fit - until now. It was a case of trial and error but this latest pair fits just right. I wanted then a litle bit loose in the back for breathing space but they do not slip off so this is fine. As far as comfort they are like walking on a cushion so this great! The material is very high quality IMO and that also counts for a lot .That said the arch support is good for these type of shoes meaning for light short distance walking, running errands, etc. If you are looking for shoes for more strenuous walking then please do not buy these. They are moccasins and are best suited for the above use. I have successfully stretched them slightly with sprung shoe hornsI was hesitant to take 8.5 because it might be loose or tight as we had not done the fitting like in the store.
